good choice of bike the early quad pipe models prices are getting a bit mad for tidy examoles with low miles,i still like the 2nd phase such as this one not that dear and decent value.

Well, fate conspired to prevent me going to work today, so l checked out a couple of dealers. Saw a nice red Z1000SX at one, good extras, but no luggage. But l'm posting for opinions on the p/x valuation. 2010 Bonneville SE, VGC, 13,000 miles. One offered £2,750, other one £3,000. I'm a buyer, not a seller, so how does that price sound to the collective? :)

Rip off, you should get £4k+ in a private sale. Two suggestions, 1100 DS Multistrada, fuck ugly but bloody brilliant bike, also TDM 850/900 Equally fuck ugly and also brilliant. Well within your budget and both lighter and cheaper than GS..

Sold my Sprint to them last summer, similarly I got a better than expected price which no on else seemed willing to give. Their current valuation of my Bonneville.........£2,349.00 : unamused:

Yes, same here. It's the time of year I suppose. They're more or less buying bikes for stock, so prices will be low. I've pretty much decided to stick with the Bonnie, it'll get me around and in truth will be perfectly adequate for the type and amount of riding I'm likely to do. So now I have to buy another aftermarket seat to replace the one I sold in a moment of imagined financial meltdown.....
