So @Rob , we seem to have got a lot of spam this last 24hrs and of previous times. Do you still exist or have you jumped ship as I know your just not interested? If we all post @Rob then I’m sure he’ll get a big enough bell ringing?

Hi @Rob it is frustrating the level of spam that has been hitting the forum. We have really vibrant international communitie here and want to keep it that way. It would be really helpful and appreciated by all if you could provide an update on what if anything can be done to combat the attacks. The radio silence just creates more frustration mate.

What concerns me is the ability for someone to flood the forum with spam whenever they wish. That could get quite disruptive. I don't know if Xenforo supports two-factor authentication but something needs tightening up with the security. Or maybe an update to the latest release is in order. This one looks quite out of date.
Judging by the fact that @Rob hasn't been on the forum for nearly three weeks I assume that's Our Man @Havit taking care of business. It's only Rob who can address the underlying issue, though.
@Rob and @Havit, @Wessa's comments and sentiments mirror mine. We'd like to keep our community vibrant and flowing and not continually interrupted by spam. It does seem that the sheer volume of spam has increased significantly in the past year. An update would be very much appreciated.
