Our international friends are probably wondering what the hell that's about. Terry Wogan was an institution here for many, many years. He presented a hugely popular breakfast radio show on BBC Radio 2 that I'd listen to when I was getting ready for school. Yes, he was around for that long! He went on to host a long-running early-evening chat show for many years but eventually came back to his old BBC breakfast slot. 'Janet and John' were characters in a series of children's books for kids learning to read, as I did with them.
Ah, the inimitable Johners and sidekick. Thanks for posting @Ducatitotriumph takes me right back to listening to that live all those years ago Anyone for cake !
We are awaiting the report of Sue Gray before we prejudge who ate the stroganoff. *note for non UK members-Sue Gray is the civil servant tasked with looking into all those parties held by politicians who'd put the rest of us in lockdown.
UPDATE: The dog has since admitted eating the stroganoff, but claims he "believed implicitly that this was a work event."
