As a Yank, I sometimes have difficulty deciphering what you foreign types are talking about. I often have to go to the interweb and look things up. You see, I'm a smug American. I'm not multilingual. I barely get by understanding the Queen's English, Canadian Canuck, or God forbid, Oz or Kiwi. Forget about any of the others represented on this international forum, although, I am somewhat proficient in American Redneck when conversing with those from south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I had to look up "Gammon."

I HOPE they are referring to the first definition.
