What on earth is this entity?
My computer skills are at best minimal and I have never been on facebook, twitter or any other of these so called social media sites, nor have I ever felt the need to do so.
What puzzles me is how someone can appoint themselves as an " influencer " and then go on to describe themselves as such.
It is also concerning that people can be, or allow themselves to be " influenced " by a presumably unknown self appointed person.
Is a social media influencer a recognised occupation?
Are they self employed or employed by influencer companies?
Do these influencers pay income tax, national insurance contributions, have pension plans, etc, etc?
    What a mystery!
It all sounds like total tosh to me.

What boils my piss with these "influencers" is that they swan about and expect things for f":king free in "exchange" for a good review on twatter, farcebook etc...
I like it when the business owners give them a taste of reality and tells them to "ram their reviews up their chuftie" and f-off.

No. I pity the poor girl. Her parents are abusing a clearly mentally unstable person to promote their own agenda. She is within the Autism spectrum and should removed to a place of safety.

Social media has become a social sickness. Putting pressure on teen and pre teens by constantly telling them how to dress and look. Encouraging judgemental attitudes and internet bullying. Demonstrating to boys the use, fun, and excitement of owning and using an AR 15. While they sit at home
making kill lists. Sorry about the negative post. But while I'm at it I'd like to get my hands on the guy who sold me the ruler an magnifying glass.

I often wonder in 5 years time or so, just what she will think of her position and influence she had at that young age… will she still feel she knew exactly what she was talking about or was she just being used.
Then, when she gets to 50 years old and some 15 year old Is whipping up a storm… will she hold up her hands and say “Fuck yeah, I don’t want to rob you of your future! We’ll do what you say!”

The immature reaction to being declined for being a freeloader sums these morons up.
Privellage is a major concern of wealthy offspring, but not accepting discounts or being willing to actually add value to the collaboration is what little value they bring.
An audience of 50,000 similar morons does not provide opportunities :poop: imo

Social Media Influencer , only experience I have , My Eldest daughter is in her mid forties , she has Two daughters of her own. The eldest is 13 , she has been heavily influenced by one of these "influencers" She has been brainwashed into believing ' everything she reads is truth ' She argues with her mother a lot , using the information contained in this influencers blogs !!! The person who she follows is maybe "20's" if we did this we'd be looked at as grooming pedophiles or worse ! There's no come back or control's on these media site's.

Thanks all for the fast track teaching course concerning this subject.
I really had no idea that what I had considered as a hugely suspect and " flash in the pan " fad, was in fact a well established, and seemingly thriving way of life!
This new to me knowledge simply re-enforces my complete avoidance of social media sites.
There is more ignorance out there than I had ever imagined, and, happily for me, it's clearly not all mine!

Arguably people like The Missenden Flyer or the Views From The Man Cave are influencers. Quite like both of these guys videos. I found You Tube reviews of adventure bikes really helpful when I was looking to buy one.

Social media influencers need lemmings to be successful. The best defense is, don't be a lemming.

I feel sorry for the people who are actually influenced when they read such crap. I don't do social media but I do watch numerous videos on Utube, serious product reviews/ tests etc but they can only give someone's opinion leaving you to make up your own mind. The one thing that really turns me off is the adverts, often selling totally unrelated shite. The more hits a vid gets the more adverts and hence more ££ for the owner. I've unsubscribed from quite a few tube channels for this reason.
