Tune After Ais/o2 Removal Only? 2013 T100

    So, I was initially planning to remove my stock air box, AIS, and 02 sensors all at once and do a tune, but the budget is limited and I don’t want to lose the peashooter look on my McQueen so I’ve decided it’ll just be the AIS and O2 sensors for now until I can also afford a high flow exhaust with a similar look to the peashooters (TTP recommended the TORS but I have yet to find them for sale. Discontinued?)

    so, my question is… Where do I get the appropriate tune map for a T100 using the stock silencers that has the AIS and O2 sensors are removed?

    None required , the only reason people go ahead and tune is to reduce 'popping' on overrun .
    Removing the ais doesn't affect the performance of the engine in anyway. The ais is there to help burn off excess fuel that may not have burnt in the cylinder fully...!

    How have you ound these (Dunstalls) - too loud?

    I had Dunstalls on my 2004 T100.
    They were a straight through pipe so pretty loud. I had removed the SAI so there was lots of popping on decel and fairly frequent backfiring on start up.
    Good fun when changing up and down but became a bit of a pain on long runs, so I added baffles in the end.

    How can his EFI work properly without O2 sensors, does the EFI go into a default mode? doesnt the AIS send air into the exhaust, and that will raise the exhaust combustions temperature, which will effect the O2 sensor feedback to the EFI. i am confused, and i want to lose the AIS or SAI next. but ill keep the O2 sensors, I think?

    efi just error codes ! Use tuneecu to switch it 'off' , I've not had sender units in my headers for 12/13 years ! Used tuneecu to write 'power commander's map over the Triumph Bonneville America map !
    I took engine apart , rebored the barrels to 904 cc , ported the head.
    Replaced the AIS tubes with sump plugs (same thread !)

    tks capt, is the tuneECU stil a product i can still get and use for an 09 T100 bonnie, and then i need some kind of USB cable? im a gearhead so if its doable, i can do it,. will my local HD independent Dyno guy need special stuff for the Brit bike? or will they already have it?

    so the stock ecu can be reprogrammed with the correct software and USB cable, ? where is it located on t100? I MAY NOT NEED it, as i am removing AIS /SAI today, and ill see.

    On my America ... It's under the rider's seat , there is a moulding on the airbox that the ecu access port slips on to. So seat or under a side cover ??

    So i removed the AIS / SAI and my "plugs arrived from "new bonneville" in Texas USA. went for a ride and my midrange 25-35k rpm popping is gone. Not sure but motor feels a little hotter ??? but she runs like a clock. should i even mess with tune ECU?
    PS. i did notice that the stainless gauze seal on one of the SAI attachment point just above the steel cyl head nipple was a little compromised. this is typical of air injection systems on many of the yamahas i have owned, the pipes and seals get old , even rust thru on the chrome plated pieces due to condensation on cool down.
    should i even mess with tune ECU?

    There is no need
    Engine will run fine... I just did it to stop mil light and with a different 'tune' reduced the 'popping'
