Hi all I am a newbie on this site. I currently own a 900 Trophy. I would like some help because the last time I went out the front brake started binding and I come to a stop. Can any inform me if the front brake master cylinder has two holes at the bottom of it or just one out let?

This is because after inspection of the master cylinder I can only see one that Goes to the piston. There is a second start of a hole but it doesn’t go to the piston in the master cylinder.

Hello Lye, what’s your concern regarding how many holes the master cylinder has got, if you’ve got a binding front brake how are the holes in the bottom affecting this situation? Have the brakes been worked on recently, new levers, or pads etc? Some more info will help us to help you.

You probably just need to clean the crap from round the piston and/or the pads. I wouldn't be fussed about the hole

Today I cleaned out the second hole in the bottom of the master cylinder. This has solved the problem of the binding .By releasing the pressure on the callipers when the lever is fully released.

With the age of the bike , it's a good idea to clean up the calipers as well !

I did replace all the pistons and seals on the callipers. This because they were corroded.
