    I'd like to take the credit but I can't. I subscribe to a Pictorial Droitwich forum, so blagged some photos of there. Though I did watch the guy who carved the old tree trunk with a chainsaw into the Salt Worker. Droitwich being famous enough for its Brine Baths. (sadly no longer open).

    Yes the canal system is great to walk. The recently opened Droitwich Ring is a 25 mile loop from Worcester to Droitwich and back to Worcester. Takes about 2 days in a narrow boat. I've walked most of it with my dog many times.

    Unfortunately my adopted home town, Whitehaven, is a bit of a shit tip. To be fair it's miles better than Workington or Barrow in Furness. Any how here's probably the only picture of Whitehaven that's makes it look anything like nice, it was taken during late winter when we got the rare treat of the Northern Lights
