Hi Darkman. Thought I would resurrect this thread in light of your latest project that is now underway.
    Truly amazing talent.
You should become the motorcycle equivalent of “Counting cars” but purely restoration based.
Are you going the bike show in Dec assuming u are in the UK

Thanks for the kind words but i'm more than happy doing a few little jobs for customers and the odd one for my self as this way i'm not reliant on others, i get to the odd auto jumble and a few local bike shows but that's my limit :)

Just bumped into this lovely job, darkman ...and it certainly is " Creme de la Creme " Always reckoned the '66 TT was (and is) the most gorgeous Triumph ever built. Exceeding well done chap, and thanks !

Darkman, My comment may not be original but This is the bike Triumph should have continued to build through the 60s and 70s. They would have never folded the company. Well done sir.

Lady Docker spent most of her days on her knees servicing Bernard so she could have all her trinkets lol, just one example where all the money went instead of retooling. Its funny how it's still the elite twats destroying and spoiling everything today.

Yeah, I'd read about that bullshit years back, been some interesting articles and books since those days. o_O Still, back to '66 .. got bored with the silver/grey of the '07 Bonnie a few years back, so took it 'round to the signwriter and got him to orange stripe the tank and mudguards ...:rolleyes: .. haha .. closest I'll get to the beloved one these days :sob: Then again, reckon the '68 Trophy ex Bears racer from Ohio with the large dia TT pipes could make a reasonable facsimile with a bit of sneaky work. ;) I go now .. head hurts !
