That's a fair bit different from the previous procedure!?

Now a lot quicker. I assume the original method still works but is unnecessarily lengthy?

Either Triumph got it wrong the first time and it didn't work or they have just figured out a simpler method. Or there is an update which I am not aware of as I do all of my own servicing.

The degradation of ancient rubber means we all should be checking for cracks in our “lucky night out” condom.

I put E10 for years in my cars bikes and nothing wrong happened, apart on a 1987 Panda 4X4. The mechanical fuel pump started to leak. I replaced it with a fuel pump I took on a 1988 model in a junkyard. Pb solved.
Not sure it was due to ethanol "rubber eating" effect, or just the fact the car was already 30 years old..
    No stress with E10.

Nah, just use diesel as a lube .... it doesn't evaporate so lasts so much longer. He said with an inappropriate air of unvelied optimism ...........

Ethanol fuel isn't readily available in WA , it's more of a thing in the Eastern States of Australia.
It costs more to make ethanol fuel in fuel and time , than the ethanol fuel will economically return ! So it's an Environmental flop/disaster !!

My mate is having his nearly new Trident 660 recovered to the dealer this morning as it is running awful and sounds as though it is going to explode after using E10
