    My mate has his Rocket in getting a new third gear, apparently its a well known problem with other rocket owners and it seems Triumph themselves know about it but not admitted there's a problem, but they do sell an uprated and heavier gauge third gear for replacing it with for a reasonable 300 quid price tag, but fitting is another eye watering 2k more plus on top.
    Needless to say he is paying approx half that amount at an independent Rocket specialist guy based in the Lincolnshire area.

    Have to agree @Helmut Visor I thought I would keep my LT for ever. Unfortunately I got to the point where I could not manage the clutch, so it had to go :mad:. Still love the look of that bike.
