I have available to me some parts from a wrecked 2018 Street Triple RS
    I have a 2018 Street Triple R

    1. Does anyone know if the RS seat and pillion will fit the R directly or will I need the full subframe or full rear end.
If I need full rear end, will is change over on the R main frame?

    2. will the rear wheel from RS fit properly on the R? Thinking for using as a track wheel setup to avoid tires swapping each time.

    3. Ohlins rear shock from RS - any problems using on my R?

    thanks in advance

Hi fmH, the parts you mention will retro fit no problem if you use the rear subframe, the seat is different on the R and RS, the rear wheel fits no problem, the RS Ohlin's rear shock fits straight on and makes for a significant improvement, it is fully adjustable. I have often said it is worth paying the extra for the RS over the R, you get so much more for your money, including extra BHP over the R. Good luck with the parts swap.

super info - thanks - so for the seat swap I would need the entire rear end tail - that is how I read your comment? - side panels too (in picture, the parts below the seat?)
    all parts behind the seats?

Hi yes you will need the side panels, it will enhance the look of the rear and look a lot more sportier, it's not a big job and straightforward.
