    Just googled it as i've never watched downton abbey, and it was used as a location for the 2012 christmas episode. you get a good view of the back of the castle when you go over the hump bridge just before you get into Inveraray.

    Despite having a local affection for Stan, I loved these two before I knew Stan was from Ulverston… and seeing this colourised photo is great! It reminds me that I haven’t seen the film about them!
