Since another year of life has reached me, I enjoyed the beautiful, but really "cool" weather with my wife on a tour to the "Waldviertel" (northernmost part of the province of Lower Austria). During our approx. 2-hour drive over 200 km, the weather was basically very kind to us, as it was only 3 degrees Celsius (37.4 F) in parts. Our way led us to a thermal bath with innumerable saunas and also brine pools. After the first sauna sessions, I dared to cool off in the adjacent moor pond. This had however only 13 degrees Celsius (55,4 F). After the 2-hour return trip with another 200 km at about 16 degrees Celsius (60,8 F), we treated ourselves at home then one or the other piece of my birthday cake.
Happy Birthday Markus! Austria is really nice. Have you seen that the Timmeljoch Hochalpenstrasse motorcycle museum is just rebuilt? I need to ride there next spring/summer and enjoy austrian roads.

Thanks for your congratulations! The "Timmelsjoch Hochalpenstrasse" with the motorcycle museum is on my riding plan 2022. Due to the weather conditions here in Austria, the first snow is now laying in the Alps, I had to skip it in 2021.
