Whilst we had a balming 32c for the last 6 days, today was different - 23c, and a howling gale. The boulevard we'd been having our after dinner drinks on was quite tranformed...
Wow, you certainly hit the sweet spot weatherwise on your vacation! Glad you guys had a great time and just got this nasty weather change on the very tail end of your trip.
We were having fish tacos for dinner so I decided on a margarita tonight. No mixers in this one. My recipe was 1 1/2 oz. of silver tequila, 3/4 oz of Cointreau, and 1/2 oz each of of fresh-squeezed lemon juice and lime juice. Shaken like the dickens and served up. I forgot how much I like a true and simple margarita!
Looks delicious--and enticing--, Aaron! I like your choice of ginger beer. We have a few bottles of that in our fridge at the moment. Perhaps a Dark & Stormy is in order.
Yesterday evening I tried a beer that's quite out of my wheelhouse. I'd bought it for a friend who comes over to play guitars with Mr. Sandi each Monday afternoon but he was in the mood for something else (a Modelo Negro). I found this Arizona wheat beer ok...but I have to admit that I'll go for a hoppy IPA any day. That said, it is nice to try something new!
