Today I bit the bullet and had a Power commander fitted and three hours tuning on a dyno.
Cost me a bundle and I was genuinely nervous that I had just thrown away a whole load of cash!
All I can say is if your considering it it’s very worth it,
It’s so smooth now, no decel popping, 7 b.h.p increase , 8 ft lbs of torque increase, with improvements throughout the Rev range.
I can thoroughly recommend Steve Jordan motorcycles in the UK, he knows his stuff!
Be warned there’s around 3 months waiting list however!

You'll probably have better gains in the middle of the rev range where it counts! Peak figures usually don't count for much but its all welcome :)
No more popping though... I'd really miss that, I love a bit of popping :joy:

It came to a grand total of £770,
I did have a few other bits done as well, Without those it was around £740.

Your right and it has, they have documented all the improvements through the Rev range.
I am genuinely impressed with the difference it has made, it is so nice to ride. I’m happy without the popping!

I always describe a PC as making the bike feel "fit." Always get some nice gains but the most noticeable thing is the crisp throttle response. Spendy but lovely.

Cool! I have the Datatool alarm fitted to mine which goes behind the battery so I wondered if that was where the PC was going. Obviously not.

Thruxton pipes, decat, and air filter, the one thing I neglected to mention was that prior to the pc I had the intermittent stall that a lot of bikes suffer from, since the pc it hasn’t happened. Fingers crossed that’s a fix for that as well.
