Center spark plug . .

Hi, ive just changed the outer 2 plugs on my 1995 Thunderbird.
I cant workout how to change the middle one, anybody know the secret ? Thanks

 

Is there a special socket to get under the water tank ?

 

Factory tool kit has the best tool. If you have one that is.

 

Nope . .no tools came with bike . . Where can i get one from?

So i take it I'll need a 15cm x 16/18mm thin plug spanner for the middle pot ? I already have the socket for the outer pots . .

 

The cross bar of the bike frame holds the expansion tank which is directly above the center plug hole so making it difficult to get the plug socket in or out. . .

 

Is this expansion tank something you could move to one side temporarily?

Just to put your minds at rest gentlemen. I started at the beginning, looking for topics that are of interest to me. I figured that if they have educated me in any way, i might add something, that might do the same for someone else. It has been suggested, that i just start a thread of my own, asking questions that i need answers to. Maybe i will do that later, if i cant find out what i need to know, using my method. Experience of other bike forums, has taught me, that an awful lot of people know fuck all, but just cant resist commenting. Often giving bad advice, that can cost others, a lot of time and money. So during my searching, i will sniff these people out, and ignore/block them. So when i do need to post, i wont have to wonder, if the replies are from genuine people, or idiots with fuck all else to do. I apologise, if you have to scroll through loads of stuff that you are not interested in. But if you are not happy,, you can always block me. Thank you, MICK
