    Hi all,

I’m in the market for a Daytona 900 and was just wondering if there was anything I should be looking out for??

Any info/tips/advice would be appreciated! Or if you have one you’d like to offload for a very reasonable price please don’t be shy!

    Cheers chaps,

    Matt

Hi Matt, build quality is generally really good, reliability is also good, the only real issue they suffered from was failure of the sprag clutch, when looking at a potential machine have a look at the battery, if it is new or recently replaced and the starter is still slow to turn the engine over, then it may be a sign of a worn sprag clutch, to replace the parts it is a fairly big job on these early Triumphs.

I came disappointingly close to winning a 900 on eBay yesterday (outbid by £20) but I was working so couldn’t up bid!!!

Oh well I’ll keep looking! There def aren’t many of them about.
