Some people aren't fans of American humor either. I get that a lot too.

    All 900cc's of it.

I have a Hornby OO train set in the attic. Still boxed, not had it down since we moved into cottage 21 years ago. And it came out of the attic in our previous house when we moved. In fact I think it has been in the attic in one house or another since I went in the army :):)

Nope - an IQ of 165 but can’t tie my own shoe laces. I’m an idiot.

    What’s your excuse?

@Golgotha sorry you took offence at my joke. It was meant innocently and without rancour. A silly quip.

I take the piss out of my own silliness more than I jest about others.

It’s really not good to take ourselves too seriously or read deep things into another’s throw away comments.

If you want a serious answer to your original question as you can’t cope with British humour, then I would guess you bought a full sized 900cc motorcycle.

My revised view isn’t as funny as my original post but is I hope more acceptable to you. I genuinely believe that the offending post was in no way offensive.

    Hugs and kisses

    CB

@Bikerman I like your emoji characters you use. How do you do that? They’re great.

And the decimal point was in the wrong place. It should have read 16.5

Who's offended? Not me. This isn't my first rodeo. Ball-breaking is a 2-way street. Know what I mean? I totally get it. At this point I'm just a bit dissappointed because I thought you guys wrote a few chapters out of that book…. ball-breaking that is, not rodeos.

Perhaps this site need some more emojis to better define our moods. The current selection is kind of lacking IMHO.

"Ball breaking," …That's American for "take the piss," BTW. Not sure what they call rodeos in England. Are they even legal there?

We may however have been a disappointment.

Or that is what all my ex-gf have said.

Edit: I’ve just been told the current Mrs Cb is willing to sign an affidavit to that effect.
