Hi names David from the Midlands in the UK .just got a new t120 black never owned a triumph before so just looking for advice on bits and what to look out for.had the bike for 5hours had to call shop to pick it up as it started to leak fuel from right-hand side intake so not a good start.is this a common problem ?.it's only done 40miles.
Hi David, Agreed, not a good start but I’ve not heard about that before so hopefully it’s a pdi issue with the dealer? Welcome in and have a good root about as there’s loads of knowledge about if you get hunting. The search tool is great to locate a specific topic too.
Just a quick update on the bike the shop says it was the fuel pipe under the tank that was not clipped into the fuel injection correctly and that is not a pdi but factory fault so fingers crossed were all good to go.had touring screen fitted so will see if that's any good at keeping the wind off (just got rid of a Africa twin so not use to the wind ). enjoying the site as it's nice to see so many pleasant and helpful like minded people on here .will be asking a lot of questions as never owned a triumph before.
Captain Black Welcome to the family. Great bike bit sad about the leak. That would really wind me up. But glad you can now enjoy what should be a great steed. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show of the steed to the inmates here in the asylum. Joe.
Hi David. Enjoy your bike, I am sure you will. The forum is a great place as you’ve already surmised. It’s the best one on the web ..!
