So had front rotor replaced under warranty was warped. Now the new one has warped. No vibration just pulsed braking. Has anyone found a more robust alternative? Is this common on Street Twins?

After reading this I checked the front disc on my Street Twin. It's fine. However, from day one I was never particularly impressed with the brakes. I think it's under-braked for a bike of it's weight and needs 2 discs up front like the only-slightly-heavier T120. I have two Honda 400's, both significantly lighter than the ST, but with double discs. The first time I had to brake hard I felt what could be described as 'pulsed braking'. I later realised this was the ABS kicking in!
Now I'm used to the ST brakes and try to plan ahead but there are still OMG moments.
