Question to anyone with short TORS fitted

One thing I noticed there was a rubber I take it was for the side stand bump stop on the tors but its well forward of where it should be - why ?

 

I would imagine a centre stand rubber to be further back again, and they normally come as a seperate
item to make up and bolt to bike when you buy the centre stand kit
