    Hello all.

Managed to snag myself an immaculate 110th Anniversary Edition Bonnie a couple of months ago, first Triumph even though I've been riding for forty+ years.

Really like the bike but hate faffing with chains n sprockets and hate having chain lube lobbed all over my nice shiny spokes, getting old and grumpy I guess, grumble grumble.

And... While typing this the heavens have opened and its bucketing down so I'm not getting a ride out this afternoon, grumble grumble.

Here, have a piccy while I grumble..

Welcome to the family. Great intro and terrific picture of a iconic Bonnie. You can grumble as much as you like here in the asylum and the inmates will just smile. Chain lube is I am a messy job. I do like was said here in the asylum a few months back. I get some heavy gear oil and an old toothbrush and scrub it in. Then wipe with a rag and hardly any spray.
    Joe.

Thanks for the welcome, I cheered myself up by stuffing food in my face, which usually works because I'm a bit of a pig, pork barrel, sandwich muncher.

Ooh, sandwich ! That reminds me, got some nice ham in the fridge...
