I can honestly say I haven’t given any of those billionaire space wankers a dime. I even refuse to buy anything from Amazon. If I can’t get it somewhere else I don’t need it. Tesla are the ugliest cars out there, similar bland styling of cars in the mid ‘90s. Wouldn’t drive by one if they gave it to me. Best thing would be if all the boys toy rockets crashed and burned.
Even as an ardent capitalist and believe it does (despite many failings) drive innovation and entrepreneurship, it is very hard to justify his personal wealth. Even Bill Gates has gotten the concept of ethics and fairness - not to give up everything but to use the excess of wealth positively (mostly). Divorce lawyers will also be rewarded well. If you can’t count the pennies in your own bank account in your own lifetime then you don’t deserve it.
Can't disagree with being able to justify their personal wealth. But one thing to keep in mind regarding the super rich like Bezos, is that most of the cash is tied up in assets, or in stock (Amazon in his case). The comparison I remember from a few years ago was that although Bezos was about 200x greater net worth than Floyd Mayweather, but Mayweather could hand you more cash tomorrow than Bezos could, because most of his wealth is 'cash' or liquid assets.
