    Hi All
The seat on my Triumph bonneville SE mag wheel has ripped and am considering getting it reupholstered. Never had this done before and having had a negative experience before due to a lack of knowledge thought I would see if I can prep myself to avoid this happening again.
So looking for some advice on the below please:
    1) Anyone know of a seat upholsterer in the east/north London area they could recommend.
    2) Anyone know the approx costs of getting a scrambler style seat redone in the existing diamond stitch pattern, colour black(needs to be waterproof).

    thanks in advance all.

Hi elfin and welcome, not really an answer to your question but I
have an unmarked standard seat from a 2006 Bonneville T100 which may be a cheaper and quicker way to resolve your ripped seat.

If you are interested I can send you some pictures of it. I would be happy with £50 being £40 for the seat and £10 for the post and packing

Thanks for the offer but I have still have my original seat stowed away for these types of situations.
    Thought is much appreciated

R K Leighton in Birmingham. I know it's not close to where you are but you can use a delivery company. I once sent a seat base from a James Captain to them and after sending realised I hadn't said what it was from. Phoned them up and told them who I was and he replied the James Captain. So basically what I'm saying is the know what they are doing.

    Yes R K Leighton.
I have had many seats altered by them and to this day they have never disappointed me. And they phone to say what they are doing if you need to change the style. And a very quick turn around.
    Joe.

I ended up going with motorcycle seatworks in the end. £82 for the seat cover. Removed and installed the cover myself. A decent enough price for the quality.
Will advise on any long term issues if any pop up but looks good to begin with.
