Hopefully they can do it without a "fan" pointing a laser at the oppositions eyes.....yet another reason why I can't stand football. I wish them all the best but try and do it while staying on your feet and not diving at every given opportunity

No, she (my real grey cat that is, not the similar-looking one yawning in the photo) is very affectionate and doesn't hate anybody, but she does share my complete lack of interest in football and who wins... Her life's mission is to rid Galloway of mice, an interest I do not particularly share (at least not to her level of commitment).

Ok I might have been a bit sensitive there,so apologies if I missed the joke. I'm just a bit tired of the England bashers north of the boarder who continue to knock England when they have done so well to get to the final of a major competition. For me if Scotland or any of the other nations had made it I would most definitely have been supporting them as one of the home nations.
Apology accepted. I agree that England have done well to get so far. I won't mention the one team that they failed to beat... But while some of my best friends are English, I still prefer to watch submarine racing.

Don't beat yourself up too much Wessa. Lets not be too harsh on the Scots, they've so far supported 5 different teams in the finals and have not seen a win.

Believe it or not I've just watched the 1966 final for the 1st time! it has been transformed into colour, great game, proper footballers with none of the cheating antics of todays so called footballers. Edit i never realized they were wearing red shirts
Of course the main problem for the England team is the cheating diving Italians who will be trying to get free kicks, yellow cards and penalties at any opportunity. Are the Argies related?
