Hello Street Twin 2016 Last weekend noticed my indicators stopped working while on a short trip. When you turn on the ignition the left indicator flashes once - then nothing from left or right or hazards. I have changed them for LEDs but that doesn't seem to be the issue as the change was some time ago and they have been working fine. I did notice they did start working while riding the bike but after a while stopped again. Im thinking it must be a short but any thoughts form you people are very welcome. All the best John
Hello Alifie Yep it had the recall issue sorted. The more I think about it it looks like a ground problem. It’s annoying as I’m really not sure if it will case more problems. I think the weekend looks like being a bit busy with a multi meter
Hi there That sounds a good one to check - do you know if that would cause the right side to flash once when I turn on the ignition? I have a multi meter so I can do some continuity tests Saturday. Thanks for the idea
Thank you everyone who gave me some pointers. Iv solved the problem - it was actually one of the LED indicators that for some reason failed - unlike a standard filament bulb it affected the hole indicator system - I swapped everything back to factory to make sure the system was ok then slowly put back the LEDs checking as I installed them it wasn’t till I did a continuity test on the LEDs that I found the faulty one. All working again
i have problem with my street Twin 2019,the problem is the immobilizer, the first key not working and the second key also.i try to bring my bike the Triumph service in Ubud,Bali, after pairing all the key i an start the engine but after one night at garage all the keys not working again, trying to pairing the keys at Triumph Service center all the keys is back and i can start the engine again,but....( even so frustated) after one night at garage all the keys not working again. really disspointed by all this. i hope any advice or solution to fix this problem Thank you
It sounds like there's some interference from something close? Fluorescent lights/frequencies of something else can do this. Try pushing the bike 200m away and then trying to start it?
