My home village that is, was back there Saturday on the Explorer to call and see my parents. Lovely village surrounded by some great countryside. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
I did enjoy our visit. I've passed through a fair few times, and had a couple of breakfasts at the Village Green Cafe. The history is fascinating, we plan a bit longer walk there sometime, visit places like Mompesson's Well, Riley Graves, the Boundary Stone, and of course just enjoy the scenery. The views along Sir William Hill Road seem to cover most of the Peak District.
Was out this morning up the coast with the camera. Was a very heavy wet fog so I stopped off at the dark hedges on my way back down. Fog had all but cleared by then unfortunately.
Yeah one of many spots round the Antrim coast. There's been a lot of film sets going on round here in recent years.
Came across this pond and fallen tree at a recent visit to a strawberry farm. We picked some strawberries and they were aewsome as well...
I'm out in Lancashire tonight, Pendle to be exact, famed or reviled for the Witch Trials. Had a quick ride out and walked up to Malham Cove. Erosion has created the biggest piece of crazy paving you'll ever see
Cairnwell Cafe at Glenshee Ski Centre, you can see this Cafe if you're coming from the Braemar side as it sits up the hill (it's only open during the Ski season) View of the road to Braemar taken from the Cairnwell Cafe view of the ski centre View of the road to Blairgowrie
