Hi all, not posted for a long time, update on what I've done to my 2010 Bonnie, was running a bit rough when I got it, Put a full (free flowing) exhaust system on, removed AI and Lambda sensors, Arrow re-map. Put smaller indicators on and swapped the seat for a cafe racer style (we used to call them 2+4 seats in the 70's/80's), kept the original upright handlebars. its running a lot better now, and I like the few small mods carried out. Just to make it a bit different. see before and after and see what you think. The image above is before I added all of the modifications, and the image below is after.
I know what you mean, but was having trouble with rough running at low revs and not pulling cleanly in 2nd gear when cornering, decided to swap exhaust for a free flowing and no lambda sensors in downpipes which has worked. The original seat was stepped quite low (as its an SE model) and like a plank. I think it looks better and sounds like it should but not too loud.
Hi sorry for the late reply (busy at work etc), they are Triumph for off road use only? Got them online from Triumph Laguna (and as the bike is SE model they didnt fit the original headers so had to change them also, put https://triumphdirect.co.uk/bonneville--t100---accessory-silencer---pair-1732-p.asp
The seat looks similar to the one I put on with a humped back, thought about bar end mirrors, what handlebars have you fitted? It looks good. Do you need the steering damper?
The bars, setbacks, and damper are Norman Hyde. The big improvement front end wise are lower fork brace, progressive springs and pre-load adjusters (TEC ). They went on after pic. Basically building my own Thurston
