Is this to protect your motorcycles from Irish motorcycle thieves, to track the ones that get ripped-off while you're away in Ireland, or both?

When are you going to Ireland Joe? I've been trying to get there for a year, but both governments keep slamming the door in my face!
I wouldn't be rushing to come to Ireland just yet. We have only recently been allowed more than 5km from the house to a 20km radius and the vaccination programme is going as slow as the rest of Europe. Pretty much everywhere is still closed from a hospitality point of view. Garda (Police) checkpoints still stop traffic and ask you for the purpose of your journey if travelling out of your county. A group of foreign reg motorcycles will not be looked on favourably at present.
