I took delivery of the wife's Street Triple today. A huge thank you to @BonnieCat for donating the paddock stand. And to @Adie P for sourcing and procuring the seat cowl!
Looking sweet sir! You’re both going to be beaming from ear to ear on your joint rides! Do you have an intercom?
Yep, she's looking good, I think. I'm really looking forward to be able to ride together. I got her the same intercom as I have, a Freecom 2+, so we'll be able to communicate.
Excellent looking forward to future pics of his and hers matching triples on rideouts! I bet shes well chuffed!
She had a riding (horse..) competition today, so I took it to the stables to show it to her - big grin, I can tell you!
How exciting! The bike looks terrific, Vulpes, and I'll bet both you and your wife are grinning from ear to ear. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on the latest developments. I don't remember the specific dates but I do believe you said that her motorcycle classes are this month. Especially from one woman rider to another soon-to-be woman rider, let her know that I'll be thinking of her and sending positive vibes across the waves and the miles. Please continue to keep us posted! And please continue to keep those photos coming, too.
Thanks for the good vibes Sandi! I'll keep you posted on progress... Meanwhile, here's the happy bunny sitting on her bike for the first time..
Looks fantastic! And the bike looks pretty good, too! So, should I be on the lookout for a white belly pan; white rad. panels and the flyscreen?
Cheers Adie! That cowl you sourced actually lifts the looks of the bike no end - very neat. I'm not a great fan of bellypans, I like the naked look. I very much like the flyscreen that's on it, but don't really care for white rad panels - so it looks like you're off the hook for further sourcing...
No pressure, then. I was never a fan of belly pans - and some of them are downright ugly - but I'm now glad that I put one on mine. I think it kind of "tidies up" that lower part of the engine. That said, it is, of course, always a personal choice. I do have one for the wife's bike but it is yet to be painted - we had her bike repainted (from black) in a non-standard colour.
Yipee! What fantastic photos. She definitely looks like a happy bunny! Tell her she looks perfect on that new bike of hers.
Maybe show your lovely bride this photo that Adie sent and see what she thinks of the belly pan vs. naked look for her bike, @Vulpes.
