NOTHING changes the look of a bike more than the handlbars...

I've gone through about 4 or 5 different types ranging from the standard ones through flat bars, H*rley Santee bars to the cut down (not so) wide bars I have fitted at present. Time for a change me thinks !!!.

I found a set of 'Organic' bars in Holland so I thought, let's give 'em a go.

I know it's not to most peoples taste and to be perfectly honest, I'm a bit doubtful too, but hey, no-one ever got anywhere by not trying thing out. "Dare to be Different" they say, so next pay day I'm getting the cables / wires extended and it'll be a new look for TRUMPET...

    What's your thoughts ??...

They're a bit of show off, right? Kudos for trying that out - I do appreciate the style, just not something I'd be keen to ride.

I reckon if you adjusted the angle of the 'bars to match the angle of the forks they would look better.

Sorry peeps, thought about it and had a few more trials and they're gonna be on the bike in a couple of weeks time ...

I feel that things are getting stale with bikes all begining to look the very similar, the only newish trend that seems to becoming popular at the present is fitting nose fairings and I don't want to follow that line, so f@ck it, I'll start my own !!... ;)

Definately I'm also with biglad and Tigcraft on this one, tilt them bars back a little and you then have the
angle and the look they should have. However got to applaud your single minded and individual taste Volksrat be good to see the finished fit complete with handgrips, levers and cables etc. :D
As you say would look a very boring world if we all looked the same and towed the same line, :p:p
