Nicely done! You could print up a coffee table book with those pics. Amazing scenery well captured.

What a fantastic write up. You are up there with Sandi T for story telling. And isn't it just stunning. I can't wait to return again.

I enjoyed reading that @brown mouse :) It brought back so many good memories, especially the non stop rain:joy::joy:. I love it up there. Have travelled all the roads you mentioned many times. The last time we went we actually had glorious sunshine. It was even more amazing.

The weather is cold and dull in Hull today, but I've just cheered myself up and been on the tour with you from my armchair!

Great write up and fantastic pictures. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post.

Now thats a proper tour of Scotland and a proper write-up too. Really enjoyed it, first class.
Glad you got some blue sky. There is not a better pick-me up when on a bike.

It’s a wee bit of a lottery but the most stable months for weather in the Western Highlands tend to be late May/early June or September (when the midges ease off!). Late May is my preference for all the fresh vegetation and wild flowers but I am funny that way.

Fantastic trip. Thanks for the pictures. That remind me the 2 Scottish tours I did (and there will be more I hope). Scotland/Highland atmosphere is so special. Time stopped there.

@brown mouse seems to have disappeared. :( :worried: His last post was last October. Dang! I was so looking forward to more fantastic touring threads from him. Hopefully he's ok.

@Sandi T Yes, I'm OK :) Was finding the posting style from some quarters too much and decided to stop inviting that into my home by not logging in.

Decided to give things a go again now the dark days of lockdown are over :grinning:
