I feel for HM the Queen right now, they had been together a long, long time and whatever else he did or didn't do, he was always her staunchest supporter. RIP Sir.

He’ll have to ask his wife for permission to go. He’ll also need to have her on speed dial so he can get daily approval before wiping his arse.

Edit: I wonder if anyone has phoned Harry (formally known as Prince) to let him know the news? I can’t imagine many volunteering.

    RIP Prince Philip

Hats off to that great fellar, what a good sport. Being a Yank, I didn't realize he had to put up with all that malarkey and only have the title of Prince. Hell I assumed his title was the king.

I'm no royalist but l recognise devotion and dedication. He had it in spades, for Queen and country, one might say. :)

I think he served his adopted country very well during both war and peace time duties - regardless of the "privilege" of his Royal position.

    Yassas Philip. RIP.

RIP Prince Philip, loyal to the end. You had to love his free spirit, evident in Charles, while being staunchly supportive of HRM.

Well, does your part of the country actually pay for all of its services? If not then your aren’t included in the we.

However those of us that do contribute to your success are glad to do so. Providing you don’t go Scottish mental and cut your own throat.

Dearest @Dave49 thank you for showing the award you received recently for services rendered to pro-Scottish Nationalism.

I’d love to win it but do not subscribe to the hypothesis that we are a different race and are better than everyone else. Most Scottish radio/podcasts/tv show would be 50% shorter if no one said unnecessarily inserted words like Scot or Scottish.

Our Scotland is in deep shit. No oil. No future hand outs from the enemy (English). No talented educated resources that can provide technology services.

Our answer? sign up the the EU. What kind of independence is that? We complain about not being heard in Westminster with 44 MP’s and they (the enemy) can’t interfere back. The EU will dominate us like nothing you have ever seen.

Now go fully EU. Scotland has less population than several major EU cities.

We won’t get a fcuking look in.

    idiots.
