    Good news!

    There is one thing that is above everything cool in your pictures, something I've never seen before..

    A sofa with built-in bottle holder!!! :eek::eek::grinning:

    Hahaha! Yep, we love our sofa with it's little console drink holder, @Hubaxe. It's sort of like a fancy movie theatre pair of seats and recliner in one. You can lean it back and also adjust the headrest. We thought it a little "unsofa-like" but thought about what we're most often doing while on the sofa and it turned out to be watching movie and TV series and sports events. So we have a loveseat and a chair for reading and the "sofa" for telly-watching.

    Wow! That seems a lot of the white stuff for April 5th, Steve. :p:joy: It's currently 75ºF here and I'm about to head out the door for my morning walk before work. The high today is predicted to be 90ºF. And that's a bit hot for April 5th! :sun::( Hopefully it's not a harbinger of things to come as we head into summer here in the Arizona desert.

    Late to the party, :confused:congratulations @Sandi T on your successful return to riding and a healed elbow. So pleased for you, as I relate to the need for ride therapy :p

    Awesome trip! I see on the map that you went around Mt lemon. My dad tells me that we need to take a trip up there in my truck the next time Im out there. Is that a trip that can be made on a motorcycle? Have you ever taken that trip?

    Hi @MPTriumph. Sorry for my very slow response to your post. Somehow I stumbled across this post of yours catching up a bit after being out of town. Anyway, Mt.Lemmon is terrific! I have posted a few threads on the forum over the last couple of years that include some rides up Lemmon on the south side of the range. That road is called Catalina Highway and it's beautiful paved, winding, and about 25 miles from base to summit. It's a favorite of Tucson motorcyclists (and bicyclists) especially in the summer because the temperatures are usually at least 20° cooler at the top then on the desert floor. There is a road on the north side, commonly called the backside, of Mount Lemmon but it is dirt. It's commonly written by mountain bikers, dirt or ATV motorcycle riders, or jeep drivers. It's commonly written by mountain bikers, dirt or ATV motorcycle riders, or jeep drivers. I've never been a day but have friends that I've done it and love it. When my husband and I have out of town visitors, a trip up Mount Lemmon via the Catalina Highway is pretty much always a must do!

    It's spectacular! Lots of view points, camping areas, hiking. And I think you pass through five botanical life zones from bottom to top. If you go in the winter, however, be prepared for snow. There's actually a ski area at the top--Ski Valley. And there's a good restaurant right across from the slopes called The Iron Door.
