I'm with Bikesure too so that probably doesn't help.

Paying £306 to cover 2019 Harley Road King Special and 2019 Street Scrambler, both with a list of modifications as long as your arm. Fully comp agreed value but 9 years NCB will likely help with that one.

My R80RT is on a different policy through a local broker for £90, but only 2 years NCB on that policy.

My £126 is with Hastings Direct ... always have been pleasant & polite over the phone with fairly quick call waiting times...

I have just renewed my three bikes (Tiger Sport, Thruxton and RE Interceptor) on a multi bike policy with BikeSure. I was with them last year at £411. Got renewal for £365, yes it had reduced! Thought I would ring around and got a quote from Carol Nash at £359. Rang Bike sure and had a chat and settled on £355 for the year. Includes protected NCB, European riding, breakdown cover, pillion on the tiger and legal cover. In my mind a bargain.....

Yes the pillion bit must be a throwback to mad lads in the 1960s taking their mates for rides with no helmets... we all did it back then .... but I think the biggest issue with insurers is the 500 meter rule from home for your full insurance cover ... so basically you can’t visit relatives or mates on your bike who live within 500 meters of where you live... that’s quite a long way ... just under a third of a mile in my language

I did a compare the market check to get quotes on the Speed Triple 1200 RS I have on order and they ranged from £177 to £307. I can live with that range.

    I’m 57, 9 years ncb, bike garaged.

Thanks chaps. With your advice and those comparisons, even with a combined cc of 2490 and 253Nm of torque, I must be able to get something cheaper.
