Oil Filler/dipstick Thread Size T140

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me the thread size of the dipstick/oil filler cap on a 1976 T140? And while we're on the subject does anyone know where I can get information on other thread sizes for this bike? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the family. Think it mentions all that in the parts book. May be wrong but worth a check.

Just checked the one on my 75 Trident and couldn't find my imperial thread gauge and it 20mm x 2.0 tpm but the equivalent seems to be 13/16" or 3/4" 12.7 TPI but no idea if they are the same.
