Engine management light came on today after IAM Slomo training day ,there seems to be plenty of oil and bike is running well.was told it will reset itself after a while any thoughts
There is a built-in process for the engine light, assuming the fault is not continuing. After 3 complete cold/hot/cold cycles, the light will go out. What year is your bike Jock. Mine was a 2010 T100EFi and I used a cable and a free-to-download program called TuneECU which gives access to the bikes ECU for tuning and error-checking purposes. Tis true, mine went on when I forgot to attach one of the breather pipes under the tank & as thebiglad states, after 3 cycles it resets itself.
