Well things are looking up :) Time changes in a few weeks! Here in NI, I think were out of lockdown on the 1st :) I've been off furlough a wee while now, very very busy and will be even more so in the coming weeks, but also means earning very nicely :) vaccine rollout is doing well :) new superduke could be on the horizon  I think this spring/summer will do a good job of making up for the last one :)
Oh and I threw out the biggest waste of money the other day... a 2020 calendar :grinning:

It has been a long miserable winter, and I'm doing some work away from home this month, so I too can't wait for next month and getting the bikes out.:)

One of the first things on my agenda.... nip over to Cairnryan, up to Dunoon ferry and at least a couple of days in the glorious highlands and/or Cairngorms. Heaven :)

I think here in Scotland we are in full lockdown until mid April, dont know when hospitality will be allowed to open. But as soon as we are allowed to travel I'm away even if it means taking my tent o_O

I don't know when lockdown will officially end in Scotland, but assuming you're not planning to stay anywhere overnight, I think a solo motorcycle ride is about as safe an activity as I can think of. First sunny day in April, and I'll be off for the day. At 72, I don't have that many years left, so carpe diem...

I was a little dubious about SORN when it first started, but now we can tax or claim refunds in 5 minutes instead of planning ahead or queuing at the Post Office. I still think it is an unfair and outdated method of taxation though.

Wondering about the isolation thing. Someone has told me if we go over by ferry we then have to isolate for ten days. Have you heard anything about isolation.

I've booked a week off from the 29th March so I hope we'll be able to go riding.

You're right Paul, but as you observe, it's made life easier. I have literally got up on a sunny winter's day and taxed a bike there and then so l could have a ride out. :)

i never bother to sorn it ,for all the difference in price it's as well to keep it on the road, as there are always good days for bike runs during the off season

6 months tax is worth it to me for that odd run you get through the winter :)
