    No2. That's quite an old car - pre F1 GP - but the driver is very famous - why ?

    No3 & 4 are F1 cars pre ground effects designs. One is orange. That should narrow the search.

    Not quite and certainly not a fiddle.

    The Formula 1 world championship wasn’t only run at the IOM TT, some years it was run in eight different countries on some of the most dangerous circuits in the world.
    The F2 and F3 championships had less races in the year.

    The Formula championships were drop in 1990 IIRC as the new World Superbike series was proving to be successful.

    I am trying not to see Diane Abbott’s immense intellectual qualities in everyone I see - it is clearly unfair and discriminatory.

    I know a bit more than feck all about car racing so I researched using Mr Google.

    The first picture is Aussie Sir Jack Brabham.

    Correct. In his early career before he moved to Europe and entered Formula 1

    Hah. McLarens are always orange. The other F1 car is from the same 3 litre era. Very distinctive design would tell you who the driver was.
