Took delivery of my new Scrambler 1200 XE showcase today, delivered by my local dealer, Total Triumph of Taunton. Chopped in my trusted Speed Twin, who has served me very well for the last 2 years. Got to wait until 1st March until I can take her out, but not too long. The guys at total Triumph had got the tank painted like the James Bond replica, which I think looks awesome, so chose it over the standard paint scheme and the Guy Martin exhaust looks so good. It also sounds fantastic! Total Triumph fitted the Tec tail tidy and I ordered it with the low seat and bar end mirrors.
I have to say if I could afford a modern triumph this would be my bike of choice. Looks like it could go anywhere. Roll on May the 1st and a Summer of fun
Owned it for just over a year now, it’s a great bike. I’ve just got back from a Triumph Adventure day near Swansea riding a 1200 scrambler, it is awesome off road. I would recommend the day to anyone who fancies trying out a Triumph off-road. All 900 or 1200 brand new Triumphs. The instructors are excellent and they really looked after us all in todays group.
