To be fair to the lady, I doubt if many of us would look much better, standing there bollock naked on a cold day... In my case, I imagine that people would be zooming out, not zooming in....
Seriously though got to agree John cant have been easy for any business at all, more so pubs you can hardly sell your wares on the internet and there was no regard for open lost stock etc, On top of that the bills dont stop for lockdown
Not easy bud it’s 14 weeks today since we closed again in October (Spring lockdown was 15 weeks) ironically just after we’d got back in the good beer guide and won most welcoming traditional hotel in NE England ! Been doing takeaways on weekends and was selling real ale carry outs till the b******s stopped that. We’ve got brilliant locals round here very supportive and bookings coming in steadily for later in year fingers crossed Local TOMCC branch planning to have their August rally weekend at the pub if all goes to plan
Good to hear John! At least things should be looking up from here on in with the vaccinations well under way
Congratulations to Hugh Zapritti Boyden on being elected to his new position as chairman of the British Budgerigar Association.
