Where oh where is this spectacular place, @SleepyOwl?? I wanna save up all my $$ and go there some day. Gorgeous!!! I'm hoping it's someplace known for good scuba diving too. Even if not, I'd suffer through simply hanging out in the ocean or by the pool, cocktail in hand.

 

I searched back to find @Red Thunder's post of the Boston Dynamics "Dancing Robots" because this article about the company was in our local newspaper a couple of days ago. A cool story about an amazing video with even more amazing robots!!

Here are two bird photos that I snapped on two different days while out on my morning walks last week. I've a hankering (and you know what that means, @dilligaf!) to get a tidy but better camera than the iPhone I primarily use for occasions such as this. I do have to thank the birds for letting me get a least somewhat close before zipping off!

Some type of hummingbird. I know, that's not narrowing it down much but I'm no bird expert.


I pretty sure that this one is a Steller's Jay. We've seen these about and got curious about their black crest which we refer to as their "mohawk".

Gotta wish him the very best of luck to get through the infections. I doubt that anyone would receive better care after his efforts to raise money for the NHS!
