Still waiting for the new bike to delivered. The shipper kind of sucks. Lots of accessories piling up though. Had to make my first payment before I saw the bike in person!
It is all the way across the country. They were a week late picking it up because they 'forgot' the dealership was closed on Sunday/Monday.
Weird question... Looking to get a side stand pad extender/shoe or whatever you want to call it. Is the actual pad portion of the side stand the same on the bobber and the speedmaster? I see they make them for the bobber but nothing specifically for the speedmaster. In AZ it gets stupid hot and they stands sink in the asphalt. I know the stands are not the same part number but it the pad portion the same? Anyone know? Odd Question, I know. Still waiting to receive the bike too. lol
If you mean the Bobber black then it’s exactly the same bike apart from the back end The original Bobber had a larger and skinnier front wheel so the side stand may well be different because of the height
Yeah, it's weird. They don't list the Bobber Black either. The part numbers are different but in the photos they look very similar. I assume the pad is the same regardless. But, I have bad luck with assumptions.
Here’s a thought @Brutusvk When I had my Speedmaster I used it to go camping and had to park it in muddy soft fields I made a puck on a string and when it was used I would wrap the string around the handle bar so I wouldn’t forget it
I carry a plate now for my other bike. I am just getting lazier. I saw someone with one of these 'shoes" and thought I needed this in my life. And, OCD kicked in.
Unless the shoe your looking at costs an absolute fortune I would just order it Go on you know you want to
Bike is finally due to be delivered tomorrow afternoon. Can’t wait. Broke my foot this week, don’t care, will still be riding it. lol lots of parts to swap out.

The chair was unscathed. I should have bought cheaper furniture! the good news, I can still ride this bike. I can’t ride my other one because I am up on my toes a bit at lights.
