Thanks for your reply which only confirms why more members on TTF have moved to another site which is devoid of members of the knitting circle. Please carry on spinning your yarns but don’t kid yourself that you’re in a majority.
A familiar phrase from a minority. Either a pseudonym or you've been hanging around on another site too much is my guess...
I doubt very much whether any of my comments would lead to any members wanting to move to another site unless they didn’t feel that an alternate point of view was acceptable. I’m sure that you, as a fully paid up member of the freedom of speech movement would gladly accept that other members even if they are part of the knitting circle can hold a differing opinion?
I was meant to be in France on Holiday last June, doesn't look like I should be planning for this June either!

Gave myself a 50/50 chance of being at the front of the queue at the ‘Stick ‘em’ place. Joint a Covid Vaccine Study last October and took a chance on whether I got the placebo or the real deal, no one knew which they got. When I received a letter inviting me to get vaccinated this week the study people (Novavax) had to unblind my info to decide whether I could go for jab. Turned out I had the Novavax Vaccine in October and November last year, so, hopefully I’m reasonably safe, but still keeping pretty close to the rules. Ken. PS. The trial jab I had might be no good anyway as it’s not yet approved and might never be!
I'll keep fingers crossed that your trial (real) jab get approved, Ken. More importantly, that it's effective! I've not heard of the Vovavax vaccine. I'm REALLY keep fingers (and toes) crossed that you stay healthy. Mr. Sandi and I had our first jabs about a week ago but are keeping very close to the rules and will continue to do so even after our second jabs two weeks from today. And we're keeping our fingers crossed that our appointment doesn't get cancelled for lack of vaccines doses which could happen.
I don't want to be pessimistic but it's safe to wait for the last minute. I would avoid big cities like Paris, moreover if public transportation are not an option.
Today's last news in France. The approaching new lockdown plan is still discussed. The 6 pm curfew flattened enough the curve to take a moment to think about. In other words (my reading of that), scientists are waiting a bit to evaluate the impact of the different variants, and see how bad they are spreading. Wait and see..
