I mean, what we have here is a narcissistic demagogue, supported by a cabal of sycophantic acolytes, who can't accept what's happened. Then there's Trump......:p:p

There is the suggestion going around that Trump wanted to get impeached so that he would have a platform to continue his campaign against the election result (presenting his evidence in a State vs Trump televised hearing over the next few years)
I don’t know how likely that is? Does it seem plausible to folk?

Hey, don't drag me into your group jerk-off.
    I'm a Trump supporter.
I wouldn't be welcome even if I chipped in with industrial quantities of free Kleenex.

It's new to me but you seem very well versed in the technique. Not being a big o'l liberal yourself I presume it's voyeurism you're in to. Well, it's a free country so whatever gets you off. ;)

I would recommend a Triumph Rocket 3 for all your over-compensation needs.

The comment about Rooster was quite funny though (sorry Rooster). :D

Can I ask a serious question please?
I found this thread because it was constantly at the top of the page.
It seems to me that the demographic is split into 3 groups.
Tom Gillam & Callumity in camp Trump. Or at least not in camp mutual jerk-off.
DCS22, OldNick & Andypandy happily on the fence. Or at least not convinced one way or the other.
But everyone else seems to think Trump is the devil himself.
Are the Brits in the 3rd group genuinely bothered about who is president of the USA?
Or are you all anti Brexit guys? You lost that one. So you're desperately clinging to Trumps downfall as a sign that woke left political views are the way forward.
It certainly comes across that way guys.
Many of you only seem to post in this thread & rarely use the rest of what I 'thought' was supposed to be a motorcycle forum?

If that was directed at me Jack, why does fighting the leftie tide in this thread deserve such a comment?
As clicking your picture tells me you've been a member of this group for 4 1\2 years & only posted 85 times. Many of which were in this thread.
You've just rubber stamped my previous comment about certain members loving this type of discussion. Far more than enjoying the forum for its intended purpose.
I've definitely joined the wrong forum.

It’s January in Pennsylvania I’ll post a pic of my bike in my garage if that makes you feel better.

I'll give a serious answer then.

It just so happens that this thread is getting a lot of posts for now, It's lively and the jostling of opinions keeps it going because of the way the subject is divisive. Don't forget, we're all bored and fed up with not being able to ride, as well. This whole forum is quite an active place though and has been for a long time. Dig through some of the other threads. Read the ones you like, ignore the ones you don't.

We're all here for the bikes - its the one thing we all have in common. There's a lot of knowledge and help given out to all who ask. Various members know each other in real life as we also do the ride-out and meet-up stuff. It's all quiet on that front at the moment, of course. I'm still relatively new but I've met a few people. Many others have been travelling and socialising together for years.
Bikers drink beer, ride bikes and like to get into loud debates on all sorts of stuff. That's all it boils down to. You'll get on better with some people that others because that's the way life works, but there's no one here I wouldn't happily buy a pint.

Have a look through the other threads for a more balanced view of the congregation. While there may be divisiveness on some topics, you'll find the same people agreeing, or at least having much more agreeable disagreements, elsewhere.

As for the U.S. president, I don't mind who it is particularly as long as they're basically fit for office, regardless of their political leaning. I think America is too significant on the world stage to have someone incompetant at the helm. There are many Americans on the forum. Some agree with my views, some don't. I like to think they're fine people overall. I may have my opinions but ultimately it's their business and I respect that.

    P.S. Andypandy is most definitely not a fence-sitter. :D

To me more than unlikely for the simple reason that the impeachment has few chances to go to an end.
Moreover, Trump will probably try again in 4 years, so he will go on crystallizing his base, including the extreme ones.
For a lot of them it's not anymore a question of left or right democrat, republican. Trump created something further where the truth is not mandatory, perfect for the ones lost into any kind of belief (Qidiots, ultranationalists, some evangelists, etc)

As a “3rd group member” I am bothered by who is US president as decisions made by them can and do affect countries other than theirs. Bit like you brexit guys crying because someone in Brussels made a decision that affected you.

Your familiar, I could be wrong.
Anyway you certainly seem to be making yourself at home. You have veered off topic a little, perhaps open a separate thread.

"I've been told" that even some of the other place are also wondering about :joy:
Too bad I should have kept my inspector Clouseau avatar, but I don't care who this guy is really.

You speak English like a native. Sadly that native doesn't live anywhere near here. ;)

(Not really. Your English is excellent.)
