Just installed a fly screen fairing from Pyramid Plastics on my Speed Twin. Very easy to install, took less than 10 minutes.

    Colour match is pretty good.

Anyone else tried one of these out?

Be interested to see if it offers much wind protection. I’ve got a dart classic and only thing it helps is keeping the flies off the clocks lol .

Do you have a pic of the whole bike with it fitted please? I’m interested in getting one of these. Cheers

That looks really cool and doesn't look out of place on the Speed Twin. Seems to complement equally as well as a Dart flyscreen IMO.

Great colour match as well by the look of it. Probably be surprised at how much wind protection you get even from a small screen. I have a street cup and took the fly screen off as I prefer the look without. It surprised me how much more wind blast I get even without that! It just depends where on your body or head the wind is deflected to. Which also depends how tall you are!! Not an exact science in my experience.

Looks good. Could easily be a factory piece.

You are right its not rocket science having had a honda with a small screen and a couple of bmws with a full screen and my deauville with a full screen I am 6 foot and find its usaley directs the wind into your face of into your chest whil this screen looks good I would prefer none but thats just me and my opinion

    Hi ManxMouse

Out of interest, where did you get the luggage rack from?

    Thanks!

    Hi Manx mouse,
Now you have had chance to ride, what are your thoughts on how much wind protection you get. Was told by my triumph dealer that they are only getting the short screen now, which does not offer much protection, and how tall are you.?
    Screen looks really good.

I have found it’s working ok. I have done a few runs on m-way’s and fast A roads. Does seem to deflect/reduce blast on shoulders/neck. It’s is no touring fairing. I’m 5’11”.

I’m happy with it’s performance so far but I migjt ry a with/without run one weekend to check it’s not all in my imagination!

I found the small screens just enough they deflect the wind past your shoulders and I recommend them.

Very nice job on the finish - it looks great, and I reckon you'll get a good amount of wind protection from it.

I have the same on my speed twin. Looks great and a near perfect match colour wise. It does make quite a difference to the wind deflection too!
