Eyup, just joined, looking for a place to ask questions about a TR7RV that Ive recently bought. I’m not sure I’m in the right place, if I’m not in the right place, I hope someone will direct me to where I do need to be.
    I’m in Sheffield, UK.

The priority on this is the forks. Do I have them rechromed, look for replacements,( is there anywhere I ought to be looking). Does anyone sell just the stanchions?
Then there’s the stripping and rebuilding. Do I need any special tools? Where’s the best place for consumables like fork seals

Hello n welcome :) TMS in Nottingham are good for spares and new stanchions are the easiest option with new seals and dust caps, job wise a good tool kit is all you req as you can push the new built forks up into the yokes as they have internal springs.

Welcome! I love the look of your bike - the engine on show, lots of space around it, almost as if there is something missing, compared to newer bikes of course.

What is that in the garage with the 'slim pipe'?

welcome to the forum SHarper One thing I am qualified to advise on is any info you get via @darkman should be taken as some of the best you'll ever receive on the forum regards classic Triumphs.
The rest of the useless information or rib tickling you require then there's at least another 90% of members on here good for that. (including myself ).

Thank you very much for your ‘welcomes’ and double thank you to Darkman, the TMS link is exactly the sort of thing I came for. The link to the links page from Sprinter is also welcomed.
The thing in the garage with the slim pipe is my Ducati 1260 Multistrada Enduro

Also in the garage I have my BMW F800GS, it’s now my winter bike, but in the six years previous to that it’s taken me to every extreme of Europe, covering 59,000 miles.
