    Other car companies bought those, then gave them to their designers to reverse engineer to learn how NOT to make a car.
    Shoulda been called Andante, not Allegro.

    A friend and I clubbed together and spent £20 (About early 60s when, by then they were enthusiasts cars) on an Austin Chummy. It was an open two seater with a rounded boot.
    Austin Ulster 7 was the one to own.

    There was once a comedian called Dave King and he came to Rochdale and tried to buy the reg. off the Mayoral car....they cfucked him off. DK1 was Mayor’s reg.
