My girlfriend has a tendency to go a little overboard at Xmas. What gear did everybody else get from Santa?
Wow good stash there mate . Mrs Wessa and I agreed this year that we would not do presents for Christmas, we just bought loads of stuff through the year that we wanted when we wanted it. Have to say it was a bit strange this morning not opening parcels. Still we had a great time watching the grand children open theirs
Wow great Triumph stash, I received mostly alcohol "hic" but not a bad thing, I use it to keep Covid at bay. Well that's my excuse.
I got adjustable leather riding pants with belt loops and jacket attachment zip and Mrs got her new pillion seat, ready for the holiday riding together
I gave up trying to contain her long ago. She can’t help herself, as long as she’s not using my card I’m good
Had a good Christmas but felt a bit strange not having our family time. Had some nice presents of tools and a Fire Pit ready for the summer time. The Triumph parts that were ordered for me have not arrived yet ? So it is a present that still keeps giving. Keep well everyone.
@Wessa we’ve also come to an agreement, I don’t say “I don’t need all this $hit” anymore and she’s happy
I think it was a strange Christmas for everyone. Especially tough on seniors who look forward to the family time more than anything, but need to be protected the most.
My main gift from Mr. Sandi was (of course!) motorcycle-related, this Shoei helmet which is matte black to match my Low Rider S. I'm planning to get out for a ride later today to try it out. Just the fit, mind you, not the protective value. And, yes, I will remove the face shield sticker before my ride......preemptive strike before comments from the peanut gallery come flying. And then there's the alcohol. And note also the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Biscuits gracing our home (and stomachs) on Christmas morning thanks to @Adie P. Thank you, Adie!! In the black tube to the front of the end table is my main gift to Mr. Sandi, a Sage fly fishing rod.
Looks like you and Mr Sandi take care of each other pretty well. I’ve got to get back into fly fishing, my waders are crispy it’s been so long
Mr. Sandi and I do try, Russell. Actually, we seem to wind up giving each other gifts that we'd buy for ourselves if our spouse didn't give it to us as a gift! That's for "big" stuff anyway. We do listen hard and pay attention and buy fun, personal, and (hopefully) thoughtful presents for one another that are actually a surprise. It was fun and informative for me to shop for a fly fishing rod since I'm clueless about fishing. There's a great shop in town called Dry Creek Outfitters and the owner awesome in helping me to make a fishing rod choice for my hubby. I now know a lot more about fly fishing rods than I did before Christmas. And really, more than I'll ever need to know. Get those waders rehydrated, Russell!
Triumph backlit sign installed in my garage/man cave. Hard to get a really clear picture of it because of the reflection, but it’s really nice.
